"My husband Nathan and I were married on the 15th November 2010 at Norbreck Castle Hotel in blackpool. As any bride will know planning the big day is one of the most stresfull things ever and as every groom will know they take all the blame for when things go wrong! But one thing that I can say definately did not stress me out was my photographer, Rob from Iconic Moments.
After trailing through many online photographer websites I found a comparison site that would send on my details to local photographers they then contact you making the process easier. Rob was one of the first contacts that got back to me and after viewing the pictures already on the site i was quick to get into contact with him and set up a first meeting.
From the very first meeting Nathan and I definately knew that we would be using Rob as our photographer.
He was very easy to get along with explained everything and knew what he was talking about. From the time that the booking was made right up untill the big day he was in contact with us regularly to make sure that he had all our details of exactly what WE wanted and to just reassure us that everything was set to go.
On the big day Rob arrived at 10am to do my pre wedding shoot with all the girls as we were getting ready then when the boys arrived went to take photos of them(including the best man losing the rings!!!). He then came back to us and took lovely photos of us all ready then it was time for the big ceremony. Rob stayed throughout the day taking the various pictures that we had asked for but also using reportage style photos to get some of the best pictures of the day. Nathan and I had a trip upto the glitterball at south shore with Rob to get somepictures of just the two of us and i have to say considerinmg that there isn't much around that area to use in the pictures through Rob's goods eye and creativity we have some fantastic shots. Likewise at the Norbreck Castle, although the venue was perfect there was only really one place outside to have photo's done however they are all brilliantly taken thanks to Rob.
He captured every moment of the day right up untill he left at about 9pm a whole 11 hours after starting the day!
The aftercare we received from Rob was first class. I could view the photo's online the day after the ceremony and from there pick the prints that i wanted. Unfortunately due to going on honeymoon I had to wait for 2 weeks before i could pick thephotos untill i returned home. Once the photos were picked Rob delivdered them along with a DVD slideshow which almost tells a story of the big day and a CDrom with all the photos on it direct to my door.
I can honestly say that using Rob as my photographer really did help to make my day go exactly how it should have done. Despite all the excellant and professional service offered to us the price did not reflect this, It was an amazing price for the services provided by Rob. Unlike all the other photographers out there that were offering a lesser package for a higher price.
Rob took into account the time of year and the day (it was a monday) etc before giving us an unbelievable price compared to everyone else out there.
All in all i would definately recommend Rob to anyone looking for a photographer because i personally believe he is exactly what you need to help make your day go smoothly and worry free."
